. | GIBL SWIMMER DROWNED. TRAGEDY' AT CARNIVAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDLN, this day. Vera Jarvis, aged 13 years, whose parents reside at 341, Cumberland Street, was competing at a swimming carnival at the Municipal Baths, last evening, ■vhen she collapsed in the water and was drowned. The girl's father states that she was never strong, and she suffered from a weak heart.
