In the Magistrate' ourt to-day the borough inspector ] >-dcd against a firm of Wanganui s. ioe car owners on a charge of using '.. »ugh streets with a car for the carriage of passengers' without holding a borough license. The car in question runs on time-table between Wanganui and New Plymouth. For the defence it was contended that the heavy traffic license issued by the City Council at Wansanui. where tiie car is gurageu, was opcramc lurougnouij the country and no further license was' necessary. Decision was reserved. !
