We bored a hole into the hanging■vall a distance of 6ft. After the first two teet of mullock we drilled into quartz •There appears to be a strong reef formation in this wall. When the reef is advanced • inother few feet we will cut in here, and " tind out its real size and value. Orivin" south-west on the main reef, a distance of ten feet has been driven. This reef has ontinuously shown gold since being cut i ~ s, «= now show »"g strong gold. We selected five pounds of picked stone Golden Age.-The winze has been sunk n i total distance of 21ft. The reef still looks well, but is not showing any gold at Present. We are getting a survev made if the new reef in the Lucky Shot, which ippears to be running through the Golden ige property, and when the survey is : completed, will crosscut to intersect the reef.
