KEILDING, Monday. \\ lial might be termed negligence on the part of a woman driving a motor ear with a full complement of passengers, including children, over the level railway crossing in Kimboltoufßoad. Feilding, occurred while the Royal train was on its way from Wellington to Auckland, and almost resulted in a tragedy. As the train approached, the motorist, not noticing or not heeding the warning signs of persons standing by, went on her way, and drove over the crossing with only yards to spare from the onrushing train. The engine-driver immediately applied the brakes and brought the train practically to a standstill, but. luckily, the rear of the car had just cleared the rails as the engine passed.
