FARM CROP SLUMP.
LOW PRICES IN AMERICA. (Received 10.30 ajn.) NEW YORK, December 21. A slump of more than one billion dollars in the value of the United States important farm crops this year, as compared -with last year, is shown in the Department of Agriculture's estimates. The decline is due chiefly to the lower prices of most farm products rather than to decreased production. More than half the decline is on account of the low price of cotton.
