FATAL RAILWAY COLLISION.
NO BLAME ATTACHABLE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARU, Tuesday. An inquest was held to-day regarding the death of David Maxwell, who was fatally injured here on December S, as a result of a railway accident. The verdict was that death was due to injuries to the head caused by a collision between a railway jigger, on which deceased was riding, and a railway train. No blame was attachable to the driver t or fireman of the engine.
