STOLE HIS MATE'S MONEY.
"PARTICULARLY MEAN THEFT." ; (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. Robert John McNicol pleaded guilty before justices of the peace this morning to the theft of £5, the property of George Clifford Eden. Senior Sergeant Clarkson said it was a particularly mean theft.. Accused arrived in Nelson and went to stay with Eden, sleeping in the "same room. The money was taken from the coat pocket. Accused was at present .on probation for a similar offence. MeNicol was sentenced to three months' imprisonment with hard labour, and fan order made for the restitution of the ' Stolen money left. . V
