HOUSE DESTROYED.
FIRE AT CLEVEDON. ' A five-roomed dwelling, owned a.nC occupied by Mr J. R. McCrae, motor engineer, was totally destroyed oy fire at Clevedon early on Wednesday morning. When discovers by Mr. McCrae, the flames WW secured a strong hold on the burning, and efforts to check them were ,m no avail. With the exception of aw* articles of furniture, practiraUy n 0 ""?" was saved, but it is understood that w» house was covered by insurance. Mr. McCrae's large motor garage DU» ness premises, on an adjoining section, and which were not insured, had a nai row escape, but were not damaged.
