Messrs. Dalgety and Co. have received the following cable rrom their London office, dated November 18: — The lamb market is weak and the demand limited. Quotations are: Canterbury, light 9 ld, heavy 7Jd; North Island, light 9Jd, heavy 7id. Mutton is weak and the demand poor. Canterbury, light 6id, heavy 5Jd; North Island 5Jd. Beef.—Market weak. Demand Is less. Hinds, 4Jd; fores, 3Jd. . Pork is weaker, owing to cheap supplies from Argentine. Nominal spot quotations are: New Zealand, lid to n»d. Australian g.a.q. lamb, light, 9*d. Market weak, demand moderate.
