SCHOOL SAVINGS BANKS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day.
The Whitiora school committee decided last night to follow the lead recently inaugurated in Auckland, of introducing a thrift scheme into the schools, as advocated by the Auckland Savings Bank, whereby children are enabled to open accounts with the bank and make subsequent deposits at the school.
