NEW LADY CHAMPION.
MRS. KERR VICTORIOUS.
HOLDER FIGHTS TO 36TH HOLE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. The final of the New Zealand ladies' golf championship was played to-day between Mrs. Dodgshun (Otago) and Mrs. Kerr (Timaru). The game was of two rounds of eighteen holes each. A strong nor , -west wind made conditions very trying for the players, but the greens were in perfect order. Mrs. Kerr played brilliantly, her putting being a feature of the day's play. Mrs. Dodgshun fought for every hole and made an exciting , game, which finished on the last green in Mrs. Kerr's favour, one up, although the 1925 champion had been three down at the end of the first round.
