TARANAKI DAIRYING.
BIG CHEQUES FOR BUTTERFAT.
DESPITE THE MARKET.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
ELTHAM, this day.
A remarkable increase of production on the dairy farms in Central Taranaki is shown by the pay-out of the Eltham Dairy Company tais month, as compared with that of September last year. The company is paying 1/2 per lb for butterfat and for cheese, and 1/1 for butter. • The total amount paid out was £11,700, compared with £11,105 for the corresponding period last year, when 1/3 was paid for both cheese and butter.
