OBITUARY.

MR. DUNCAN McMILLAN. One of the most likable personalities lof YVaharoa, Mr. Duncan McMillan, ] passed away on Friday night, at the age !of 52 years. Mr. McMillan was a farmer iof considerable experience, having folj lowed that occupation in Taranaki, Te i Aroha and Waharoa. During his eleven I years' residence at Waharoa, he had j made a large circle of friends, for he was of a most optimistic and genial dispoI sition, and helpful in all public affairs. ! He was a staunch Liberal in politics, and 'was secretary of the Waharoa Liberal [League; also a hall trustee and a viceI president of the Waharoa Cricket Club. i Deceased leaves a widow and two I daughters, Mrs. XV.
