TAURANGA REGATTA CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The sixth annual meeting of the Tauranga Regatta Club was held on Friday, the president. Mr. Dawson Hanna. presiding over a good attendance, including a number of lady members. The report stated that the sixth annual regatta was held in fine weather, and was a great success. The value ot" prizes and trophies won totalled £n()0. The ocean race from Auckland to Tauranga for the gold cup was as popular as ever, and die innovation of liberating carrier pigeons from the leading yacht enabled the public to keep in touch with the progress of tic race. Entries for the yacht and launch races were well maintained, while crews from tbe principal rowing (dubs ~f Auck-

land, and from Hamilton and from Whakatane competed. Visitors were entertained at picnics at the Mount and Otumoetai, also by a trip by motor car to Rotorua. The rerratta dance and the smoke concert on prize night were well attended, and thoroughly enjoyed by the visitors and members. During the year the club was registered under the "Incorporated Societies' Act. IDOS." The club's best thanks are tendered to the Royal X.Z. Yacht Squadron,
