CLUB FOR PETER PAN'S READERS.

CHOOSING A NAME.

BE SURE YOU VOTE—READ HOW TO DO IT. Dear Boys and Girls, — The competitions of August 25 proved very popular, especially No*. 1 and 2. In the I&tter some very high-grade work was received, and as a result I have given two extra prizes in that competition. It is certain that the idea of a club appeals to you all, and large numbers of suggested names were sent in. As explained previously, I have sorted out the six best, and have compiled a voting paper on which appear the six selected names. I want every reader of the " Budget " to make a point of voting, so that the final name will be one chosen by a majority. In 'writing the names on the voting paper I have not arranged them in any special order, as I do not wish you to be influenced by my suggestions. Remember, the way to vote for it is important. Cross out the name FOR WHICH YOU WISH TO VOTE. You are allowed to vote for ONE name only, so that any paper with more than one name crossed out will not be counted. The voting paper will appear in Saturday's " Budget " for the benefit of those who have not got Wednesday's paper, and is for their use only. You cannot vote twice. All you have to do is to mark your paper, cut it out and post it to mc at the " Star " Office, and post or deliver so as to reach this office not later than Wednesday next. Do not make a hurried choice, for once a name is settled upon it cannot be changed. Further information concerning the dub, and what you have to do to become a member 'will be published in later issues of the " Budget." This week's competitions are — fully explained, so there is no >rl/ need for mc to mention them f \J Iγ <d^t^^^^ P.S.—I am sure you will be pleased to see that we have a little more space this-week.
