THE BATTLESHIP RENOWN.
The battle-cruiser Renown was to con* mission on July 20 for trials and aftei* wards to join the Atlantic Fleet- Cap|tain N. A. Sulivan, head of the Torpedo Division of the Naval Staff, is in command. The Renown took the Prince of Wales to Canada in 1919, Australia in I 1920, and India and Japan in 1021-2, 1 and went into dockyard hands on July I 19, 1923, to be reconstructed at a cost lof £979,000, having, among other things, been fitted with bulges for protection against torpedo attack. The Repulse, I her sister-ship, is also rejoining the j Atlantic Fleet, so that the battle-cruiser squadron will shortly be complete agaia for the first time for several years-
