One Saturday recently his Royal and Energetic Highness the Prince oi" Wales (says a writer in the "Xew Zealand Freo Lance") decided to motor down to Sandj wich (his favourite week-end resort) I with several of his friends. The Royal j car sped on until suddenly, and without warning, both back tyres "blew out. With a little good luck and a lot of good management the Prince straightened ti« wheels and sated the car from • headlong swerve. He then backed it to the side and clambered out. He cast off his coat, rolled up his sleeves anil "got busy" by the roadside. But no one, however willing, can make one spare tyre fit two wheels; so, lighting a cigarette, j and with a rueful smile, the Prince , walked to the nearest telephone (in a i butcher's shop), and telephoned for anI other car.
