ANOTHER MISSIONARY SLAIN.
CHINESE BANDITS' ATROCITY. PEKING, August 29. Father Ruyffelsrrt, a Roman Catholic priest from Suiuangr, was shot and mortally wounded by bandits while travelling in the Shansi province, and several of his Chinese attendants were killed. The missionary was carried to the town of Kangfang-yingtze, where he expired after receiving the Last Sacrament.— (Reuter.)
