TOWN CLERK'S LAPSE.
STOLE BOROUGH MONEY. COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, this day. Patrick Joseph Creagh, ex-town clerk at Brunner, pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing and converting to his own use £346 4/3, money belonging to the Brunner Borough Council. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence, on bail of £200.
