DIRTY DUST BINS.

(To the Editor.) Sir.—Allow mc to protest against the state of some dust bins put out in front of some houses. Wo see everywhere "Keep your tfity clean," and rightly so, yet on the first warm day I have passed some really bad smelling rubbish tins on the footpath, with swarms of flies. There is no need for this state of things \ even in the poorest home, as a little quicklime from any store kept in a small bag will keep anything sweet and clean by dusting now and again.—I am, etc., CLEANLINESS.
