(To the Editor.) Sir.—l see in tlip paper where the magistrate, in sentencing a man to three months' imprisonment, said "That will j carry you into the summer."' I left | lnvercargill a fortnight ago, where the weather was of a very wintry description—snow, hail, chilling winds, with a previous sharp succession of icy frosts, I come up here and find the weather just as good as summer, very mild indeed compared with down south. —I am, etc..
