DEATH IN STREET.
MAN SUDDENLY COLLAPSES DEVOXPORT FATALITY. A resident of Ponsonby. Mr. John B. De Mole, suddenly collapsed and died in Lake Road, Devonport, at 5.30 on Saturday evening. lie was at the time waiting, together with bis wife and nephew, for a bus to return home, having in thi afternoon been visiting relatives. The deceased, who has been in poor health for the past three or four years, appeared on Saturday to be iv better spirits than usual, so that the collapse was unexpected. As he had be2n attended by a doctor an inquest will not be required. He resided at 20, Fazet Street. Ponsonby. Mr. De Mole wa s for the past fourteen years company secretary to the Auckland Glass Company, Limited. Hobson Street, and was highly esteemed by all who came in contact with him. He was a member of All .Saints' Anglican Church, Ponsonby, and formerly had been a member of the Holy Trinity Church. Devonport, and superintendent of the Sunday school for some years.
