Xo less than 88,486 voters have their names on the Parliamentary electoral rolls of the city and suburbs. All the electorates, except Auckland Central, have now over 10.000 voters. The figuree are:—Eden, 13,982; Parnell, 13,413; Waitemata, 13,113; Gray Lynn, 12,326; Auckland West, 11,534; Auckland East, 10,607; Auckland Central, 9211. A steady purging of the rolls has been in progress during the year; and electors who have removed from one electoral district to another are reminded that they are required to notify their change of address; and, in addition to this, they must make a fresh application to be registered as electors on the rolls of their new district. Failure to enrol within seven months after taking up residence in any electoral district leaves :*. person open, to, prosecution*
