SERIOUS WOUNDS.
WOMAN IN HOSPITAL. By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. ' Mrs. , Jane Erwin, of Regent Street, Waihi, is now in the district hospital in a serious condition as the result of severe wounds in the throat. She was discovered by her 15-year-old daughter lying across a copper in the back yard with deep gashes in her throat, a razor being subsequently found near by.
