HONOUR FOR AUSTRALIAN. A PRECEDENT ESTABLISHED. LONDON, August 22. The pastor of the City Temple, Dr. F. XV, Norwood, formerly of Victoria, Australia. hn« accepted the invitation of the ( hureh Congress to ■. -each at the gathiTing which is to be held af Southampton in October. This is the first occasion on which ?uch an invitation has been extended to a nonconformist minister. Mr. Norwood was born in Melbourne and educated at Oγtnond College in that city. He was minister of churches at Canterbury and Brunswick, in Victoria, and at North Adelaide. South Australia, later serving as Captain-Chaplain with the Australian Forces in the Great War. He is the author of several publications. Mr. Norwood has been minister of the City Temple since 1919.—(A. and N.Z.)
