OBITUARY.
CAPTAIN G. H. SELLERS.
Many friends in Auckland -will learn with regret of the death of Captain George Henry Sellers at his home, "Te Uua," Helensville, at the age of 55 years. Some years ago he was one of the founders of the Sellers Alen and Co. line on the Kaipara Harbour. It was started is opposition to the Kaipara S.S. Company, but was ultimately absorbed by that firm. Captain Sellers remained in the service of the Kaipara S.S. Company until quite recently, the chief boat of which he had command being the Ruawai. DEATH OF MR. J. C. DICKEY. j The death occurred yesterday of Mr. John Charles Dickey, son of the late Mr. J. A. Dickey, who was a well-known ironmonger in Queen Street for many years. Mr. J. C. Dickey was manager of a department in the firm of John Burns and Co. In his young days he was a noted member of" the Auckland Amateur Athletic Club, and is wellremembered by old hands for the sterling performances he put up as a walker. In his day the annual gathering held by the club on the Auckland Domain wa's one of the most fashionable events of the year, and the competitors were all more or less generally known. Mr. Dickey leaves a widow and fwo sons. REV. A. W. KINMONT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUXEDIX, this day. The death ig announced of the Rev. Alexander W. Kinmont. retired Presbyterian minister, at the age of 65. MRS. A. D. WILLIS. (By Telegraph.—PreM Association. WAXGANUI, this day. The death is announced of Mrs. Mary Willis, widow of the late Mr. A. D. Willis, formerly M.P. for tVanganui for many years. She had lived in Wanganui since 1865; and was closely identified with its social and civic interests. SOUTH AFRICAN WAR VETERAN. (By Telegraph.—Press Assoeiatlon.l DUNEDIN, this day. The death is announced of Mr. C. H. Street (SG), licensee of the Provincial Hotel. He served in the 2nd and Bth New Zealand contingents in the South African War, rising to a captaincy.
