ORPHANS ENTERTAINED.
Saturday was a red-letter day for the j inmates of the Papatoetoe Orphan j Home. Tn the morning between 60 and: 70 children, under the charge of the \ matron, Miss Hooker, were the guests of: Messrs. Milne and Choyce in the Tudor Tea Rooms. The managing-director per- j sonally received the little guests and morning tea was served on the balconyThe children before leaving gave three lusty cheers for their kind hosts. A box j of dainties was thoughtfully sent to tlie | home for those who were unable to come j to the city. I The manager of the Majestic Theatre ' provided a further treat by inviting the j children to attend the afternoon screening of "Robin Hood." The kiddies were delighted with the picture and thoroughly j enjoyed the double outing. ; The matron and staff of the Home express their deep gratitude to Messrs. Milne and Choyce and to the manager of the Majestic Theatre for giving the children such an enjoyable outing.
