RUGBY FOOTBALL.
CHARITY DAY MATCH. PONSONBY V. THE REST. The big attraction at Eden Park tomorrow afternoon will be tlip charity match between Uie season's champion emb team and a team selected trom the other clubs. In the club championship games the Ponsonby fifteen went through the competition with an unfoeaten record, and its display in all games was s-iieh that, with the asset of its club combination, the side should ■he able to hold its own against the picked side. The selectors have certainly Sfivtjri the club champions a strong side to defeat, for the forwards s-c'.ected are both f-ist and solid, while tl'o 'mrks, on paper, are a good lot individually, and should they strike a working combination, their game \v ; (.h the fast Ponsonby rearguard shouid provide a highly attractive display of the code. The curtain raiser between University Colts and Ponsonby second <rrade should be another highly-attractive game.
