Superintendent's Office, Quay Street, July 8. 1926. Notice is hereby given that the work in connection with the new reclamation, immediately to the westward or the Western Wharf, has commenced. The stone embankment commences at .1 position approximately 150 feet east of the north-west corner of the Freeman's Bay Reclamation. and extends out from this position in a north-easterly direction.

The board's electric crane and stone barges are moored at the end as the work progresses. The crane punt is lit at night time by two white lights placed horizontally 10 feet apart. Several piles have been driven between the crane punt and the North Wall, which are used for carrying the electric cable. Vessels are warned not to pass between the electric crane and the North Wall.
