FARMER'S SAD FATE
HANGS HIMSELF TO TREE.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, this day. A suicide involving the death of a resident of Kaketapauma, Mr. William Ginders, aged about 42, has occurred in the vicinity of Taihape. Deceased was found by a police party at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday, hanging by a rope from a tree in 300 acres of bush, about one mile from his home.
On leaving his home at S o'clock on Wednesday morning, deceased told his wife that he was going fencing. When he did not arrive home again in the evening, a search party was organised. The search lasted for over twelve hours before he was discovered. For some months past deceased has not been enjoying the best of health, and he recently had a nervous breakdown. He leaves a wife and two children.
