PARAMOUNT CONVENTION.
AUCKLAND EXHIBITORS.
A convention of all Paramount pic* tine exhibitors in the Auckland province will be opened hero on Thursday next when the firm's policy and productions for the 1926-27 season will b<? outlined. The general sales manager for Australasia. Mr. W. Hoggan, will arrive from Sydney on Tuesday. The convention will be on the same footing as the big conference held recently in Sydney, and is being convened to celebrate fifteenth anniversary. The convention will be opened at. 10' a.m. at Hotel Cargen. Addresses will be delivered by prominent business men in the city, and, after luncheon, the exhibitors will adjourn to the Rialto Theatre. where a comprehensive "trailer" of forthcoming productions will be screened. The exhibitors will come from the territory from Taumarunui to Gisborne, north.
