O3JECTTOK TO VALUATION,
TAXATION AXD REPRESENTATION
(Dy Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHEISTCHUECH, this day. A lively meeting of ratepayers of the Marshland Riding of the Waimairi County Council last night voiced strong protests against the recent Government valuations, which were held to be excessive, and resolved as follows: This meeting is strongly of opinion that objectors to valuations should be allowed a representative at the Assessment Court, and that this should apply to the whole of New Zealand.
