OFFENDERS IN COURT. VARIOUS FIXE:--. iTL-sfcuUtions brought about by Mr. G. K. Hogan, chief traffic inspector, were heard before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.. in the Magistrate's Court this morning. Tea shillings was the fine inflicted upon Robert Cochrane for facing the wrong direction. Dangerous driving cost Charles J. Cutler £2 and costs. He was speeding at 33 miles per hour on the Great North Road. Ernest M. Marks was fined £2 and costs for not having a driver's license. The Mount Eden traffic inspector, Mr. H. Bransgrove, brought a number of prosecutions. Hiding bicycles on the footpath on Balmoral Road cost Samuel Coad 10/ and costs, Algernon Quaife £1 and costs, and Stanley Upton 10/ and costs. For riding a bicycle without a light in Balmoral Road, Stanley Upton was fined 10/ and costs, and Arthur Mason was fined a similar amount. Xeville John Maekinley was fined £2 and costs for failing to "stop his motor cycle when signalled by the traffic inspector. Hβ was fined *a further £1 and costs for causing his rear registration plate to be obscured. The Avondale traffic inspector proceeded against J. E. Astley. X. Davies and E. Ellis for failing to produce a driver's license, and all were fined 10/ and costs. Hiding a bicycle -without a light cost V. Hart £1 and costs. A fine of £2 and costs was inflicted upon 11. Bukson for drivin*"- a vehicle without lights. POLICE PROSECUTIONS. A larjre number of by-law case, in which Senior-Sergeant Edwards prosecuted, were hoard in the Police Court before Mr. J. AY.
