RESIGNATION OF PARKIN. LOXDOX, July 6. Sir Kdwin Stwkton, president of the Lancashire County Cricket Club, states that Parkin has resigned. His resignation is not the outcome of a demonstration of lack of discipline. The Lancashire Club, as a mark ot esteem, has presented Parkin with a gift of £150. It had been stated that Parkin resented his relegation to the position of i twelfth man in a team chosen a fortnight a t, o , when he said lie would not again pFay for Lancashire.
