FORGERY BY MAORI.
PLEA OF GUILTY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE KUITT, this day. A Maori youth named Thomas Koreheke was charged at tiie Police C.->urt with forging' the name of Mr. Henry Rotheray (Mayor of .To Kuiti) to a cheque for £15. Hi pleaded guilty, and w.i'. committed to the Supreme Court at Auckland for sentence, bail of £-">OO being allowed.
