An pxprutjvp mPPting of the above wns hold on Saturday evening. Mr. J. A. Hepburn, preeidont. in thf- chair. ThP secretary reported that Messrs. Carroll and Somers had forwarded their donation of £5 S/ for a special bout. Advice was received from Nelson JlcKnight (Hamilton), and .7im Broadfoot (Waihi). accepting terms for their bout, and with contracts signed. Thi.i will oe the professional bout at the tourney to be held on July 26. The following are the amateur bouts : —• Claude Wright (Te Aroha) and A. Vernail (Frankton). E. Sainsbury (Te Aroha) and N. Braadfnot (Waihi). P. Coombes (Te Arnha) lind M. Hulton (Waihi), J. Nicholson (Manawarui and Snowy Cummings (Te Arnha;, E. Stirling (Te Aroha West) and Stan Nolan (Te Aroha). J. Smith (Morrinsvillc) and K. McConnell (Waihi). Mr. Spi Thomas will be referee, and Mr. W. 11. Long announcer.
