FOOTBALL ACCIDENTS.
PLAYEE'S JAW BROKEN. ANOTHER DISLOCATES SHOULDER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. While playing football at Te Awamutu on Saturday, Albert Johnson (21) had his jaw fractured and was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, where he is making good progress. A young man named Albert Fowles (21) 'had a shoulder dislocated during the Whitiora-Frankton League match on Saturday and was sent to the hospital, where his favourable progress is reported.
DEATH OF MAORI PLAYER
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. A Maori youth named William Pirata died in the hospital on Saturday night as the result of injuries sustained in a Rugby match at Upokongaro in the afternoon, when he cannoned into another player.
