GRADE JERSEY SALE.
A successful sale or grade Jerseys was conducted by the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd.. Hamilton, in conjunction with the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Company, Ltd., at Taterangi last week, when the whole or Mr W. C. German's pedigree and grade Jersey cattle were sold There was an exceptionally large attendance and spirited h<dding throughout. For grade cows bidding oricn started it £20, and competition was very keen. The top price Tor cows was £36. while many others sold at over £30, and heifers up to £23. Ninety grade cows averaged £19 17/6, 4 5 heirers averaged £20 6/. and is yearling heifer- averaged £6 6/.
