At the annnal meeting of the Opottti A. and P. Association officers were elected as follows:—President, Mr. W. A. Smith (reelected): vice-presidents. Messrs. C. T. Clarke and F. Pile: treasurer, Mr. A. Braae:. committee, Messrs. J. Yonng, J. T. Clarke, A. Xeilsen. J. Steptoe and A. Young: auditors, Messrs. A. W. Todd and N. F. Pattle. A debit balance of £160 at tin end of last year has been redaced to £22.
Ontario marriage licenses are only valid for six months. A Toronto young maa advocates having them made good until ueed. He has already purchased fonr. After the prospective bride postponed tha ceremony ■ that number of times the licenses.were out of date.
Berlin policemen are to wear stra» hats this summer. The spectacle of a portly cop chasing his flying helmet down street on a windy day would excits the merriment of the populace.
