HOMESTEAD DESTROYED.
FIRE NEAR MORRINSVILLE.
HEAVY LOSS REPORTED.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
MORRINSVILLE, this day
An eight-roomed farm residence owned by Mr. J. Werder, of Springdale, was completely destroyed by fire early this morning.
The outbreak was first noticed by Mrs. Werder, who was awakened by the roaring of tlie flames. The occupants were able to make their exit only just in time. Nothing was saved, and the loss is a heavy one, as the insurances do not cover a great part ?f it. It is supposed that the fire was caused by the fusing of electric wires.
