LOANS FOR MT. ALBERT.
ALL ISSUES APPROVED.
£750,000 TO BE RAISED.
DECISIVE MAJORITY GIVEX
The four loan proposals, totalling £750,000, submitted to the ratepayers by the Mount Albert* Borough Council, were all approved of at yesterday's poll. The issues were for improvements to roading and drainage, the erection of municipal offices, and attention to reserves and public conveniences. At all pollingplaces there was a majority in favour of eiery issue. The proportion of ratepayers who voted was about a-third of those on the roll, but this was above the usual percentage. The least favoured scheme was that for the erection of municipal offices, but even here the majority was a decisive one. The work which is now to be undertaken will be spread over a period of ten years. The details of the voting on tbe four proposals were as follow: — For. Agst. Maj.
