(By Telegraph."— Press Association.)
WELLINGTON, this day,
Major Charles Argle Eaton, farmer, of Masterton, was recently respondent in a divorce action Vrought by his wife on account of alleged misconduct with a girl named Mailey, employed in his house. Owing to the proved unreliability of the girl's evidence, the petition was withdrawn in the midst of the hearing. To-day Eaton again appeared before Mr. Justice MacGregor, as petitioner for restitution of conjugal rights, owing to failure to arrive at a reconciliation with his wife. The petition was not opposed, and was granted.
