A COOL THEFT.
GRAIN STORE,ENTERED
FARMERS' COMPANY SUFFERS.
(By Telegraph.—Press. Association.)
CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
A bold theft took place from the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative's grain store at Lecston during the past few days.
Tim store is often closed for a period, and,-when the employees la6t visited it they found that the' place had been broken into and that five bales of new grain sacks and twelve sacks of chaff were missing. As each bale contains 250 sacks, a large vehicle must have been used. '„. . The store is is rather a lonely part. The theft nevertheless was a particularly impudent one, as it must have taken place in full view of anyone who happened to be passing.
