LONDON", June S. In the county cricket championships Yorkshire in their first innings against Somerset scored 202 runs (Robinson So. Macaulay 10SJ. Somerset in their first innings made 144. Rhodes took six wickets for 20. The second innings yielded 119. Rhodes took eight wickets for 4S. Yorkshire -won by an innings and 35 runs. Essex in their first innings against Kent made 108 (Cutmore 55). Wright took four wickets for 20 and Freeman five for 25. In their second innings Essex made 172. Freeman took five wickets for 60. Kent in their first innings made Uβ. Nichol took six wickets for 61. The second.innings yielded 1&3 runs for eight wickets. Eastman took four wickets for 49. Kent won by two wickets. Playing for Lancashire against Xorthants McDonald took five wickets for 29 runs and Tyldeslev took eight wickets for 15. For Xorthants Clark, took seven wickets for 02. Lancashire won. Playing for Sussex against Gloucester Tate took five wickets for 22 and A. E. Gilligan took five wickets for 34. For Gloucester Mills took six wickets for 52 runs and Parker took five wickets for 79.
