TREATY OF MOSUL.
TURKISH CONDEMNATION. LONDON, June 8. The Constantinople correspondent of the "Times" says the Turkish newspapers condemn the Mosul Treaty. They say it is merely a solution imposed by the force of circumstances.— ("Times.")
TREATY RATIFIED
(Received 1 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, June 8. The Angora Assembly has ratified the Anglo-Turkish-Mosul agreement,— (Reuter.) The long drawn-out negotiations between Britain and Turkey in regard to Mosul have resulted in a general agreement a week ago. Protocols include a security pact and agreements in regard to frontiers, cuatoms. traffic, transit and the extradition of criminals. The agreement was signed on June 6, and the Parliamentary ratification is merefr formal.

(Received 11 a.m. , ) CONSTANTINOPLE, June 8. The Premier. Ismed Pasha, in a stateBlent to his followers, said that Turkey could have recovered Mosul by arms, but it was questionable whether it was worth delaying the restoration of the nation by a war of unknown duration. The supporters of the Government approved the Anglo-Turkish Treaty.—(A. and N.Z.)
