MOTOR BUS REGULATIONS.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —The more the City Council excuse themselves the more they accuse themselves, and the indignation of the general public is increased by tin; attempted explanations. They will find out what is thought of them next election if the proposed regulations are ever enforced to the bitter end. There are quite as many indignant ratepayers as bus owners and suburbanites. Personally, though in the city area and a Ratepayer, I shall support the buses, though preferring to travel by the cars. Coercion does not appeal to the Briton, especially an Irishman; it only gets up the fighting blood. Before demeaning themselves further in the matter it would be better to adopt the slosan. "More Business in Government" and not so much un.iustifi able interference. If some of the councillors would go out and live in outer areas and depend on a bus to pet home, they could appreciate the service better.—l am, etc., F.AIR PLAY.
