PRESENTATION TO CONSTABLE
A presentation of a wallet, case of pipes, and a set of brushes was made at the Auckland Police Barracks to Constable Samuel Flavell, of Northcote, who retired this week on superannuation after 33 years' service. There was a large mus-
tor of both the uniform and plain clothes members of the Force. Eulogistic remarks were made concerning the past services of the retiring officer, and the best wishes of his comrades conveyed that he would long be spared to enjoy the leisnrt of retirement and his pension.
