WHITE COLLAR JOBS.
" BECOME MECHANICS."
NEW YORK, May 27.
John Andrus, the multi-millionaire manufacturer, declares that nine of every ten college graduates fail to succeed in life because there are too many men for the white collar jobs.
He advises young men to become mechanics, and forget all about their "foolish college education."
This is the mechanical age, he says, and men are needed to build, drive and repair machines. Most of what is necessary to modern civilisation can be learned in the workshops and factories rather than in schools and colleges.
