JAZZ SAVES PANIC.

Jazz saved a panic when America's largest river steamer —the Washington Irving —rammed a barge in the Hudson River, and Rank.
There were 350 passengers aboard, and when the accident happened there were signs of panic, but the band struck up the latest jazz tune. The passengers immediately became quiet, and eventually all were rescued.
