POLITICS IN EGYPT.

NEW CABINET FORMED

EXCLUSION OF ZAGHLUL

LONDON, June 7. A message from Cairo states that on the recommendation of Zagblul Pasha King Fuad invited Adly Pasha Yeghen, the Liberal leader, to form a Cabinet. Adly accepted the task and formed a Ministry from which Zaghlul was excluded. The portfolios have been distributed as follows:— Prime Minister and Interior.—Adly Pasha Yeghen. Foreign Affairs.—Abdul Khalek Sarwat Pasha. Finance. —Morcoe Bey Hanna. Justice.—Zaki Pasha Abdel Seoud. Education. —Albey Shemsi. War.—Kamel Bey Khashaba. Communications. —Mahommed Pasha Mahmoud.

Pious Foundations. —Neguib Pasha Ghorabli.

Agriculture.—Fathalla Pasha Barakat Public Works.—Asman Bey Moharrem.

The Cairo correspondent of the "Times" says that in Wafd circles it is acknowledged that the decisive victory of Zaghlul and his party at the recent election was a deliberate challenge to Britain and that it would have resulted in tyranny. The challenge was so taken up as to demonstrate the determination of Britain to secure Zaghlul's capitulation.

"It is a personal triumph for the British Commissioner, for Egypt, Lord Lloyd," says the correspondent. "We are not yet out of the wood though our prestige is the highest it has been since the time il Earl Kitchener."—'(ReuterSydney "Sun.")
